This is a three hour deep dive into making a beautiful and functional set for the home…

During this workshop you will be introduced to a series of fundamental hand building skills. Working with a soft, luscious stoneware clay you’ll learn how to coil cups, eventually forming a pair. You’ll then work on a larger form that will morph into a jug, making a beautiful set for serving water or cocktails. With help + guidance from experienced and award winning potter, Ashlee Hopkins you will create and decorate this set of three objects.

Perfect for complete beginners looking for a way to work with their hands. But also great for potters with some experience who would like to explore objects that are sets.

What: 3 hour hand building workshop
When: 9 November, 2-5pm
Where: Ashlee’s studio located on Kaurna Country, Prospect SA
What’s included: your ticket includes all clay + tools, as well as a glazing and firing service after the workshop of your set. Tea + coffee is also provided to keep you hydrated during the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for participants 18+. While Ash loves kids her studio is unfortunately not suited for little ones. If you have a teen that would like to attend please ensure that a guardian is also booked to attend with them.
