An expression of old craft techniques in the modern world.

This hand built form was made from South Australian terracotta before layers and layers of colour and texture were built up. A combination of foraged oxides and clays interplay with commercial white underglaze and stains to produce a complex surface. It’s in this surface that we can find commentary on the value of combining eastern and western processes in the modern world.
